A commitment to BC’s legal future

Under the new Legal Professions Act, BC’s legal professionals, including lawyers, notaries and paralegals who choose to be licensed, will be regulated by a single entity called Legal Professions BC. The transition is guided by a Transitional Board, Indigenous Council, Advisory Committee and other stakeholders, with the goal of shaping the future of BC’s legal profession with integrity and transparency.
