The following communications update provides an overview of work completed to-date by the transitional board and transitional Indigenous council (hereafter referred to as the “Transition Team”) as well as changes to the overall work plan and transition timeline.

Under the new Legal Professions Act, BC’s legal professionals, including lawyers, notaries and paralegals who choose to be licensed, will be regulated by a single entity called Legal Professions BC.
